Job Purpose Summary

This is an excellent opportunity for an Ecommerce Trading Manager to join a well-established brand, at an exciting time of change and strategic progression within the Ecommerce and marketing team. Perfect for a second time manager looking to build their own vision and plan in a high-profile international retailer. 

 

Overall purpose of role:

  • Delivering digital sales & margin – all channels
  • Price, range and promotion implementation
  • Paid marketing delivery, inc PPC, affiliate, email.

 

Key Responsibilities 

  •  Development and implementation of Ecommerce Trading strategy, in line with overall business strategy
  • Ownership of Ecommerce budgets, accountable for delivering conversion and ATV, working alongside Merchandising team to drive online performance 
  • Responsible for site optimisation and customer journey, to drive conversion and repeat spend
  • Responsible for content management, working with creative team to ensure assets in place in line with seasonal calendar
  • Use analytics to drive insight, actions and measurable improvements across all websites
  • Explore new development opportunities using testing
  • Work closely with in house development support to continually improve on-site experience and functionality 
  • Manage the delivery of the new website and post go live optimisation
  • Create an ongoing strategy of conversion optimisation through testing, usability and customer experience with the aim of driving revenue growth and positioning
  • Work with the UK operations team to identify customer pain points and optimise customer experience and journey
  • Manage the Amazon Seller Fulfilled and Fulfilled by Amazon proposition and relationship

  

Person profile

 Specific Job Skills:

  •  Ecommerce trading/content manager experience 
  • Commercial and product focused, ideally with a premium retailer or toys category experience
  • Highly numerate with strong analytical skills, extensive knowledge of GA and Seller Central
  • A team player, with a desire to mentor and develop the team 
  • Market awareness and understanding of target customer
  • Positive attitude and adaptable to constantly changing retail environment
  • Proven track record confirmed through promotions within businesses 
  • Worked in multi-location retailer background, experience of owned retail website, Amazon and eBay channels
